That’s why we are proud to announce our new strategic partnership with the Care Consultant Accreditation Framework - C-CAF. Together, we are taking an important step toward strengthening quality, transparency, and trust across the social care sector, with real human impact at the centre.

Complementary Frameworks, One Purpose

NaDCAS was created to support care providers in delivering truly person-centred dementia care through our Framework for Exceptional Dementia Care. Built around nine key focus areas, our framework goes beyond compliance, supporting organisations to understand the person behind the diagnosis and create environments where individuals can feel safe, valued, and able to thrive.

C-CAF brings a vital and complementary dimension, providing a recognised "Gold Standard" for consultancy and ensuring every professional is legally, ethically, and professionally qualified.

These frameworks work in alignment. While NaDCAS focuses on raising standards in dementia care practice, C-CAF ensures that the professionals supporting care organisations meet the highest ethical, legal, and professional standards.

At NaDCAS, we believe credibility comes from accountability. That’s why our own assessment team is currently undergoing C-CAF accreditation.

This reflects our commitment to transparency, professional integrity, and holding ourselves to the same high standards we expect from the providers we work with, building trust in the services we assess.

The Future of the C-CAF Portal: Specialised Search

We are already building toward a more integrated future. As part of our ongoing collaboration, care providers will soon be able to identify NaDCAS-accredited assessors through the C-CAF Free Directory. This will make it easier to connect with professionals who understand dementia care and whose expertise has been independently verified.

The result is a more transparent and reliable way for care organisations to connect with qualified experts who understand both the operational and specialist requirements of modern dementia care. This added visibility will support better decision-making and strengthen confidence across the sector.
